About the Speaker
Dr. Shashi Karhail, a distinguished computer scientist with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, holds a US patent, showcasing her contributions to innovation. She's been a Lead Engineer at Samsung R&D, shaping cutting-edge tech, and also an academic, having served as an Assistant Professor and guest lecturer at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women. Currently a Cyber Security Consultant at Rainbow Secure, Dr. Karhail safeguards critical digital assets. She's earned accolades, including Google's Special Commendation, two Google India Women in Engineering selections, and a Google Scholarship for GHC 2008. Additionally, she received the Broader Engagement Advance Track Award for the Supercomputing conference in 2011.
